These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the CleanSheet Excel add-in and related services.

By accessing or using CleanSheet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

1. About CleanSheet

CleanSheet is an Excel add-in that provides in-application analysis and insight generation within Microsoft Excel.

CleanSheet is provided by CleanSheet Automation Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

2. Scope of Service

  • CleanSheet operates inside Microsoft Excel using the Office add-in
  • Spreadsheet analysis is performed locally within the active Excel
  • CleanSheet does not store customer spreadsheet content.
  • CleanSheet does not assume responsibility for the availability, performance, or security of Microsoft Excel or related Microsoft services.
  • Use of Microsoft Excel is subject to Microsoft’s own terms and policies.

3. Licence and Access

Subject to these Terms, CleanSheet grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the CleanSheet add-in for your internal business purposes.

Access to CleanSheet may be subject to licence terms, usage limits, or time-based restrictions as agreed separately.

CleanSheet reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from CleanSheet.
  • Circumvent licence controls or usage restrictions.
  • Use CleanSheet in a way that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.
  • Introduce malicious code or attempt to compromise the add-in or its delivery mechanisms.

5. Customer Data

  • CleanSheet does not claim ownership of customer data.
  • Customers remain responsible for the data they load into Excel and the decisions made based on outputs.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in CleanSheet, including software, branding, and documentation, are owned by CleanSheet Automation Ltd or its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property to you.

7. Confidentiality

Where confidential information is exchanged in connection with CleanSheet, each party agrees to protect the other’s confidential information using reasonable care and not disclose it except as permitted by law or agreement.

8. Disclaimer

CleanSheet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • CleanSheet makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Outputs generated by CleanSheet are informational and do not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice.
  • You remain responsible for reviewing and validating results before relying on them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanSheet Automation Ltd shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
  • Decisions made based on use of CleanSheet.

Total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid for CleanSheet in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

10. Termination

You may stop using CleanSheet at any time.

CleanSheet may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required to protect the service or comply with law.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

CleanSheet may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of CleanSheet after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Law

12. Governing

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
